It gets tired after too many heat cycles.&#xA;Carbon fiber is different. It handles the expansion and contraction of heating and cooling like a pro, so the lamp keeps its focus over the long haul. We wrap the whole thing in a quartz envelope. It keeps the oxygen away from the filament and lets that short-wave infrared heat pass right through without losing its strength.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Fitting It Into Your Setup&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;If you&amp;rsquo;re using mid-sized drying or curing ovens, this is basically a plug-and-play situation.
