We built these to hit that sweet spot where you get a fast thermal response without having to fight with your equipment.&#xA;They run at 220V and 1500W, which basically means they pack a serious punch in a medium-sized frame.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The Power Side of Things&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the deal with the power: we stuck with the 220V standard because nobody wants to mess around with bulky step-down transformers. You just plug them into your existing industrial grid and go.&#xA;But the real magic is the carbon fiber. It heats up way faster than those old-school nichrome wires. Your machinery doesn&amp;rsquo;t have to sit there idling while it waits to warm up. It just happens. Fast.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Why Carbon Fiber and Quartz?&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We tucked the carbon fiber heating element inside a high-purity quartz shell. We use quartz because it doesn&amp;rsquo;t get in the way; it lets the infrared radiation slide right through.&#xA;The heat these lamps put out is mostly medium-to-long wave IR. This matters because it sinks into materials differently than those short-wave halogen lamps you might be used to. It&amp;rsquo;s a different kind of heat.&#xA;One quick heads-up: quartz is tough against heat, but it&amp;rsquo;s fragile.**Please use gloves.**If the oils from your skin get on the glass, it creates hot spots. That&amp;rsquo;s a one-way ticket to a cracked tube.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Making It Work in Your Shop&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;These are great drop-in replacements if you&amp;rsquo;re running PET blowing or drying lines. You&amp;rsquo;ll notice the heat is much more even than what you get from coil heaters.&#xA;Just a word of caution: 1500W in a tube this size creates a lot of radiant heat. A lot.&#xA;If your housing isn&amp;rsquo;t vented well or your sensors are sitting too close, you&amp;rsquo;re going to trip your thermal cut-offs. Also, double-check your wiring. Make sure it can handle the current draw so you don&amp;rsquo;t run into voltage drops at the terminals.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
