We built this carbon heater tube to be a straight swap for industrial gear that needs serious heat in a small space. It runs on 400V, draws 2500W, and comes in at 300mm long. Inside, a carbon core sits snug inside a quartz tube, filled with halogen gas.
Power, Voltage, Size—Without the Fluff
Plug it into 400V, and you get 2500W of heat packed into a 300mm length. That means high watt density. In plain terms: it heats up fast and holds steady once it’s hot. And that 300mm size? It’s meant to drop right into standard machine slots—think shrink tunnels, ovens, and plastic processing heads—so you don’t have to rework the chamber. Swap it in and get back to work.
Why It’s Built the Way It Is
Quartz handles sudden temperature swings without cracking, and it keeps the inside environment stable. The halogen fill gas helps prevent the filament from thinning out over time, so you don’t get that slow fade and early burnout. Connections are simple, too. The R7s connector gives you a two-point hookup with solid contact pressure. It’s a proven design for high-temp terminals, and it lowers the chance of hot spots at the joint.
Where It Shines—And What to Keep in Mind
Use this tube when you need quick heat-up and steady temperature control in tight quarters—plastic processing, packaging sealing, and similar industrial heating jobs. But here’s the trade-off: you’re dealing with intense heat density. That’s the power, sure, but your machine needs to manage airflow and cooling. If the surrounding parts can’t shed heat, you’ll cut the service life short. So plan your cooling accordingly.
