We built these to hit that sweet spot where you get a fast thermal response without having to fight with your equipment. They run at 220V and 1500W, which basically means they pack a serious punch in a medium-sized frame. The Power Side of Things Here’s the deal with the power: we stuck with the 220V standard because nobody wants to mess around with bulky step-down transformers. You just plug them into your existing industrial grid and go. But the real magic is the carbon fiber. It heats up way faster than those old-school nichrome wires. Your machinery doesn’t have to sit there idling while it waits to warm up. It just happens. Fast. Why Carbon Fiber and Quartz? We tucked the carbon fiber heating element inside a high-purity quartz shell. We use quartz because it doesn’t get in the way; it lets the infrared radiation slide right through. The heat these lamps put out is mostly medium-to-long wave IR. This matters because it sinks into materials differently than those short-wave halogen lamps you might be used to. If your housing isn’t vented well or your sensors are sitting too close, you’re going to trip your thermal cut-offs. Also, double-check your wiring.
