The carbon fiber filament hits its stride almost instantly, pushing heat exactly where it needs to go without wasting energy. It’s fast. Really fast. The Nitty-Gritty on Power Running at 220V and 800W, this 362mm lamp spreads heat evenly across the whole length. You won’t have to deal with those annoying hot spots that usually ruin a batch in smaller ovens. We stuck with 220V to keep the current draw under control, but there’s still plenty of punch to get through your materials quickly. And if you’ve got a PID controller? Even better. You can dial in your temperature with crazy precision. Why Carbon Fiber Actually Matters Here’s the thing about traditional tungsten: it sags. It warps. It gets tired after too many heat cycles. Carbon fiber is different. It handles the expansion and contraction of heating and cooling like a pro, so the lamp keeps its focus over the long haul. We wrap the whole thing in a quartz envelope. It keeps the oxygen away from the filament and lets that short-wave infrared heat pass right through without losing its strength. Fitting It Into Your Setup If you’re using mid-sized drying or curing ovens, this is basically a plug-and-play situation. The 362mm size fits right into most modular oven racks. But a quick heads-up: carbon fiber doesn’t behave like your old ceramic or metal heaters. The heat penetrates deep and the lamp surface gets hot—fast. Just make sure your oven is well-insulated and your airflow is dialed in for 800W. You don’t want to accidentally scorch your product or melt a piece of your chassis because the air wasn’t moving.
